Hi! I'm Sophia Templeton. I am a sports photographer studying at Houghton University working towards a degree in Sports Recreation and Wellness with a minor in Art and a concentration in photography. My intended graduation date is the Spring of 2026.

 

While studying, I work for Houghton University and photograph their athletic and campus events. This past summer, I worked with the Genesee Rapids, a member of the New York Collegiate Baseball League as their main photographer and social media manager. In the spring I took an Internship in the spring of 2025 at Messiah University as there sports photographer and media manager. In which I participated in shooting 4 National Tournaments and shooting every game in the Baseball D3 world Series.​

 

I am incredibly excited to work towards making sports photography my full time career. Athletics provides a unique opportunity to capture both extremely difficult and beautiful moments. I take great joy in capturing all these and putting them on display for others to see and appreciate.
